Estate Planning & Asset Protection Planning: Post DRA in New York

On February 8, 2006 President Bush signed the Deficit Reduction Act of
2005; representing the most sweeping changes to Long-Term Care Medicaid
eligibility rules in more than a decade. Medicaid, on both state and federal
levels, are subject to substantial changes that impact eligibility for current and
future elderly and disabled individuals. This program will discuss the changes to
Medicaid, including the radical reform of the transfer of asset rules. It is
designed to help professionals better serve their clients who are facing long-
term care decisions and how to pay for them. These new dramatic changes make
this program necessary for anyone serving elderly clients. Social workers,
insurance agents, nursing home administrators, attorneys, guardians, CPA's, and
CFP's will find this seminar valuable in helping them tackle the issues involved
in Medicaid planning.

Each participant will receive a copy of the written materials prepared by
the faculty. This is a comprehensive guide to the materials discussed in the
seminar.
